One strategy musicians are adapting is to become advocates for their own music. Think of places where people need music: Fitness, modeling, weddings, DJ’s, Party planners, cooking groups.  The trick is to explore areas that you are interested in so you won’t loose interest. Meet some new people and offer up your personalized playlist.
