Find a Niche:
I say this often but I’ll say it again, you must determine your own unique road to greatness and do well on any social media page. Treat Periscope like a social channel filled with new fans who are dropping in to learn about you. Do a variety of different periscope streams until you discover what works for you. Sometimes you’ll find that an easy chat about a topic is the best way to engage people as they drop into your stream. Ask your audience questions and get ideas for more streams by testing out some fun things you can do with periscope. Such as take periscope: to lunch, the beach, in the studio, to work, watch a 10 minute video with others, chat, discuss topics, spread inspiration, play music… Once you have done a variety of shows, you will certainly see some activity starting and people will start to tune in regularly. Just remember to give back in some way by visiting their streams and sharing/commenting on their tweets.
Consistency: This is the key to any social or career success along with making sure what your doing surrounds your unique self.
Advertising: Use images, posts on your social pages and embedded video clips from your periscope channel to let people know about what your doing in your stream. Believe me, it’s so much fun to be a part of the live streams and leave comments, if you show people how they can, they will come!
